Let’s Get Real About Employee Benefits

HRMA

Mental Illness & Suicide – Insurance Companies are Reconsidering Covering Suicide Attempts

This session will be an ‘old fashion’ Roundtable with interactive discussion, in which Pamela Glendinning will share her inside knowledge regarding disability insurance and reviewing the exclusions in your employee benefit contract in regards to attempted suicides.
There has been a lot of talk in the media recently regarding these exclusions, and mental illness in general. Pamela looks forward to you sharing your questions and experiences on this subject; as well as assisting with other vexing insurance/group benefits queries or concerns you want to bring.
Pamela Glendinning – Pamela is the owner operator of Glendinning Insurance Services and has been offering specialized expertise in supporting corporations since 1985. She has worked with a joint American/Canadian Legal team to Canadianize a disability contract that RBC is still using today.
Please note, due to popular demand, this Roundtable is an evening session. Complimentary light snacks will be provided.
*Seats are limited and Roundtables often sell out. You are required to register online in advance (first come, first served).  Both HRMA members and non-members are welcome.
