Misuse and abuse of narcotics are becoming far to common.
Green Shield is the company that handles the administration for the Extended Health and Dental claims for the majority of the Third Party Administrators (TPA). Most of the Insurance Companies are becoming very concerned about the use of narcotics and Green Shield has now implemented some controls on their reimbursement of these prescriptions. This change will hopefully assist in lowering the misuse and abuse of narcotics.
