As we start travelling again, we are navigating the ever changing world of Covid.  This is the Blog with the latest information that was forwarded to me by Allianz Travel Insurance.

There are some countries that are requiring proof of Covid Insurance.  Employee Benefit Programs may cover you for hospitalization due to Covid.  However, this may not be the coverage these countries are looking for.

Covid Insurance through a private Insurer offers more than just hospitalization.  Contact me if you would like more information on this product.

Following are a few popular destinations that require proof of COVID-19 insurance. Keep in mind, entry requirements for destinations vary, and can change at any time due to the uncertainty created by the pandemic. We recommend all travellers follow Government of Canada travel advisories, do their research, and review requirements for international travel before booking their trip.

  • Cayman Islands
  • Chile
  • Costa Rica
  • Curacao
  • Israel
  • Nepal
  • Seychelles
  • Singapore
  • Thailand
  • Turks and Caicos
  • Ukraine

It is important to know that it is you, the traveller’s responsibility to validate and meet all entry requirements prior to arrival. The Insurance Company you use is not liable if a traveller is denied entry due to failing to meet the entry requirements for their destination.
