A couple weeks ago, we answered questions around extending maternity and parental leave. Since this time, we have had clients in different industries find themselves in a situation where they were very grateful that they had established best in class employment agreements. As a result, one client was able to settle a termination pay dispute in a fair and amicable way, and the other was able to rely on the language around adhering to policies as a way to encourage behavior that is representative of the organizational culture that they are aspiring to.
