On Saturday January 23, 2016 Castanet reported that the Federal Liberal Government announced a bulk buying program that should reduce the costs of prescriptions. They did not speak to whether it was Generic and/or Brand name drugs.
Currently each province has their unique health care program and as mentioned in the article they are hoping “the alliance will increase drug purchasing power for provinces”.
