Don’t Tax My Benefits Campaign

Cut-Taxes5

If you never read another one of my posts, this one requires your attention.

Currently, your Extended Health and Dental premium and benefits are not taxable to your employees.  The Liberal Government is wanting to tax these premiums, which means that not only will the employee’s premium be taxable but CPP and EI will be required as well.  I would like to thank Great West Life for bringing this easy solution to letting your MP know you are for a tax free Extended Health and Dental benefit plan.

A campaign called “Don’t Tax My Benefits”  has been created.  If you click on the Don’t Tax My Benefits in this Blog, it will take you to the link that will allow you to have your voice heard with your MP.  They have made it very simple, enter your email address, your first and last name along with your postal code.  The letter is already included and you can make revisions if you so choose.  With the postal code entered, it will go directly to your MP and then with two clicks you can post this onto your Facebook and Twitter sites.  It took me 1 minute to complete.

Together, we can make a difference.
