Peter Mansbridge, from CBC did a piece on Suicide Attempts and Insurance: Why you Might Not be Covered. This is an article that will start a conversation and create controversy.
Controversy can bring change, if needed. I do feel that a better understanding of the wordings in the contract is important.
Over the next couple weeks I am going to go over each of the benefits and review where this exclusion is placed. This should provide a better understanding on how the Insurance Companies adjudicate the wording in the contract.
