It doesn’t happen very often that not only do I get a thank you but have such notoriety on a claim. The story about my friend and fellow kiteboarder, that I purchased Out-of-Country coverage through Allianz Global Assistance, on the night before he had his accident, has seemed to have gotten around Kelowna.
I am thankful for the awareness that this claim is bringing to people. However, this is not a one off situation, I sell policies and assist people with their claims everyday. A lot of these claims I assist people with are life changing, they just aren’t openly talked about.
So yes, some days I am left feeling like a Super Hero and the work I do is appreciated. I would imagine that we have all had that experience in our careers.
