My Mom jokes with me that I had 5 minutes to spare one day so I decided to start another business. The truth would be more like, I have been researching for a couple years about expanding Glendinning Insurance Services and each time I have come back to I like it the way it is. We have grown another 20% this year and when required I will look into adding staff. I would like to thank all my clients for working with us, I am so fortunate to be working with each of you.
To answer the question What Am I Up to Now? I am still running Glendinning Insurance Services and there are no plans to change that.
My Brother and his Wife in Regina Saskatchewan started up a Window Blind Company called The Blind Men, approximately 7 years ago. The business is based on Integrity and a Fair Price for everyone. The company has taken off, but how could it do anything else with that Mission Statement?. They have opened up an Alberta Affiliate and have been after me for a couple years to start up the British Columbia Affiliate.
I am in the process of hiring Design Consultants for the following areas:
- Revelstoke,
- Kelowna,
- Kootenays, and
- Creston
I have a dynamite couple who live in Kamloops who will be looking after the Kamloops/Vernon region and I will be announcing them shortly.
Look for me at the Kelowna Home Show on February 9th and 10th and the Kamloops Show on April 6th and 7th. Drop by the booths and I will introduce you to my new Design Consultants.
As for Glendinning Insurance Services, it is business as usual. Working with each of you is an honour and I look forward to all that 2019 will bring.
